Fragrant dried elderflower harvested this summer on our farm in northeast Iowa. Our flower is as free from leaves and stems as possible and has not been treated with pesticides or other chemicals.
We grow only native North American elderflower, Sambucus canadensis. Most of the elderflower on the market is European elder, Sambucus nigra, harvested in Europe.
One ounce of our dried elderflower is a generous one cup by volume. This is the equivalent of about 5 cups of fresh flowers.
Add elderflower to herbal tea blends or make elderflower wine, jelly, tonic, liqueur, or syrup.
Sold by the ounce. Quantities are limited.
