Antique round ridge bell, shank base, size #00, 7/8 in.

Antique "round ridge" bells from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Bells supplied will be approximately 7/8 " diameter and similar in general shape to the bell shown.

This style of bell was produced by a number of manufacturers, so the details of these bells will vary. At least one maker called this a "shank rim" bell. More about round ridge bells... and More about our bells...

Here is what to expect from the #00 bells I have in stock:

  • There will be no cracks in these bells from use, but there may be casting defects -- small holes from air bubbles or irregularities in the throat (slit)
  • The sound of these bells will vary widely. Due to their size, all have a high pitched, light sound, but some bells have a quiet, faint sound and others are a little louder and more musical

This tiny bell is the smallest made in the round ridge style with a delicate sound in keeping with its size. It has a shank base for use with a bell pin. Purchase fasteners here... I use bell pins in size small for these.

Sold per each. Quantities are limited and subject to change without notice.
