Display strap with 16 patent (Tucker) bells

A fair number of the display straps I make are longer than usual, holding a dozen or more bells. This strap features 16 small "patent" bells that were machine stamped in the late 1800s from sturdy sheet brass. A few of these bells still show traces of their original silvery nickel plating. This piece is about 38" long from top to bottom and is made of medium brown leather, 1 1/2" wide.
