This riveted style is an alternative to the laced style of display strap I often make. The two layers of leather are fastened together with small brass rivets between each pair of bells.
The top of the strap is finished with an optional buckled top. The buckle is fully functional. This strap can be used on a horse by unbuckling the top, removing the ring, and fastening the top around a suitable part of the horse's harness.
The leather strap is just over 28 inches long, 1 1/2 inches wide, not including the solid brass top ring. The ring adds another 3 inches to the overall length.
