Handheld strap with 3 chimes

These three bronze chimes originally came from a set of shaft bells. Rather than re-create the original design, the owner wanted the chimes put on a flexible strap so they could be held in the hand and jingled for special occasions.

After some discussion, I designed this wide leather strap with rings of different sizes stitched to the strap ends. The owner can slip the larger ring ring over the smaller to make a loop to jingle the chimes, or she can hang the strap flat on the wall or door as decoration.
