Door strap with tiny cowbell

A long-time friend from Minnesota asked me to make a keepsake strap for this tiny steel cowbell. The cowbell has a brass, copper, and dark brown "spatter" finish that was popular around 80 to 100 years ago. 

I hung the bell from a solid brass "footman loop" so the bell can swing freely. The footman loop is fastened with small copper rivets onto the curvy dark brown leather backing. The small round dots above and below the bell are decorative brass "spots" added purely for pretty.
