Cowbell with leather handle

A cow bell usually hangs on a wide leather strap meant to be buckled around a cow's neck. We make these traditional cowbell straps, but this customer wanted a handle for her cowbell so it could be rung at family reunions and other events.

The handle is formed of several layers of leather, so the handle and bell form a rigid assembly. We cleaned up the cowbell to remove rust and gunk and adjusted the clapper so it is ready for many more years of fun.
