Unlined straps with 69 bells

The current owner of these 69 bells asked us to clean, polish, and lacquer the bells and make two new straps similar to the old ones. There are 41 "egg" bells on the 1 1/8" strap and 28 stamped egg bells on the 7/8" strap. Both are about 87 inches long.

At one time in the past, the two straps had been coupled together with loops of leather, and the current owner asked that we couple the new straps together as well. The coupled straps look a bit odd to my eye, but this is certainly an efficient way to quickly get two-straps-worth of bells onto one horse.

We made the narrow strap with straight edges, rather than with pinked (zig zag) edges, to control costs. The original buckles were reused on the new straps.
