Three straps w petal bells, top buckle, bottom ring

The owner of this set of bells asked me to use the bells to make into three display straps. Two straps have 5 "petal" bells each (not shown) and the third has 7 petal bells (shown). More about petal bells...

The bells were cleaned but not polished, so the metal is smooth and glossy, but the color remains the soft grayish brown of oxidized brass. The top bell on the 7-bell strap is a generous #14 size and measures about 3 inches across the middle. The bottom bell is a #4, 1 1/2 inches across.

I used dark brown leather to make the straps. The shorter 5-bell straps are 2 inches wide and 20 inches long; the 7-bell strap is 2 inches wide and 26 inches long. Lengths do not include the top ring which adds about 3 inches to the overall length.

The solid brass top ring is a standard element on every display strap I make. The owner also asked me to install an optional functional top buckle on each strap to hold this ring in place. He also asked me to add an optional bottom ring which is purely decorative. The bottom ring is fastened in place with a small copper rivet.
