Rivet strap with 4 Swedish bells

The client asked us to make a close copy of her original neck strap, a family heirloom. She wanted the bells and original buckle to be reused on the new strap without being cleaned or polished.

The original strap had been cobbled together out of copper rivets and odd bits of leather, so I think it was probably a home-brewed design using materials on hand. The new strap has the same general design, overall length and width, and bell spacing of the old piece.

The traditional Swedish bells date to the mid to late 1800s.
