Rump strap with 6 early 1800s petal bells

This traditional rump strap features six antique petal bells from the early 1800s. The bells were produced by the foundries of William Barton, Seth North, and either Hiram or Hubbard Barton. Petal bells are not commonly seen on rump straps, but this type of strap is a nice way to display and use a small set of larger petal bells. This strap is made of dark brown bridle leather about 23" long and 2 1/4" wide.
