Unlined strap w 16 petal bells, 1 open bell, buckle safe

This neck strap fetures an open bell in the center with 16 "petal" bells evenly divided on either side of the open bell. The open bell adds a clear musical ring to the more percussive jingle of the sleigh bells.

Besides the open bell, the other unusual feature of this strap is the shaped tab of leather behind the buckle. It is called a "safe" or "buckle safe." A safe protects the horse's hair and skin from being pulled and irritated by the metal buckle.

The unlined strap is 1 1/2" wide and about 48" long and is made of dark brown bridle leather.
