Unlined strap with 16 Eastlake bells

These antique stamped-brass bells have an ornate Eastlake-style motif. This design reminds me of a circle of pointed boards from a picket fence. The bells date to the late 1800s or early 1900s and I am fairly certain they were made by William E. Barton or by the Barton Bell Company, the company that took over his business.

There are 16 bells, each 1 3/8 inches across, on a dark brown strap. The strap is finished with a sewn-in solid brass buckle and decorative leather keeper.
