This kit will be a buckled strap designed to hold 11 modern petal bells with shank bases. The diameters of the bells are unknown,. Mr Lebowitz specified the bells should be evenly spaced along the strap.
Strap will be a basic unlined style made using black bridle leather. The center portion of the strap will be 2" wide. The overall length of the complete strap will be about 80" long from tip to buckle fold.
Slots for bells will be evenly spaced 5.25" apart and located in the center portion of the strap.
DeeAnna will design the buckle and billet ends of the strap based on her experience with traditional harness straps.
Strap to have a solid brass buckle riveted onto one end using solid brass or copper rivets. Buckle to be 1 1/2" wide.
Strap to have a separate "billet" at the other end with holes for the buckle. Make 1 1/2" wide to fit the buckle. Billet to be riveted onto the main bell strap with solid brass or copper rivets.
