This strap is made to fasten into a loop to be worn around a gloved wrist or just held in the hand. It is small enough to slip into Santa's large jacket pocket.
The strap is decorated with three bright-sounding, musical sleigh bells. Two #2 (1 1/4" across) and one #3 (1 3/8") antique "petal" bells are shown at left. The bell sizes may vary slightly from these sizes depending on the antique bells I have in stock. The inside of the strap is lined with a separate layer of smooth, undyed leather to minimize the chance of irritating the skin or transferring dye onto Santa's gloves. The closure is Velcro. The edges of the Velcro strips and the edges of the leather strap are sewed all around for durability.
New and antique bells are available.
- Petal bells have an old-fashioned look with a cheery bright jingle.
- Round ridge bells have the same shape as petal bells, but no "daisy" design. They sound similar to petal bells but tend to be a bit louder.
- New solid-brass bells have a higher, louder sound than antique bells. They come in two finishes. Gold bells have a shiny gold finish. Silver bells are the same bells as the gold ones except for a shiny chrome finish.

Your wrist bell strap will be similar in general design to that shown, although details may vary slightly.
Use a soft measuring tape to find the distance around your wrist, aiming for a trim but not tight fit. Be sure to wear your gloves when you measure if you normally wear gloves as Santa. To keep the strap as trim and non-bulky as possible, I recommend no more than 1/2" to 3/4" of adjustment (as shown).
If you can provide your own bells for this piece, the cost will be considerably less. We recommend using small to medium size bells (1" to 1 3/4" diameter). Larger bells will be too heavy and awkward, and their tone may be too deep to create a bright cheery sleigh-bell jingle.
