The solid brass "globe" bells on this strap are antiques made sometime between the mid 1800s through the early 1900s. They are about 1 1/8" in diameter. More about globe bells...
The strap is an older replacement; it not the original strap on which the bells were installed when new. The medium brown strap is about 78" long and 1" wide in the center, tapering to a 3/4" wide buckle and billet at the ends.
We have only wiped the bells and strap clean of loose grime and dust; we have made no other changes or repairs.
This item is suitable for decorative purposes only. Do not use this strap on a horse or for any other application where strength, safety, and durability are requirements.
