Display strap with 20 modern acorn bells

This display strap holds 20 modern acorn bells. Most sets of acorn bells on the antiques market are modern reproductions like these. Modern acorn bells exactly like these are still being made today. They are appealing bells, and the owner really liked his set although he was rather dismayed to learn they were not antiques. We polished these bells to a mellow glow and set them on a sturdy laced strap for display in his home.

How to tell the difference between reproduction and genuine antique bells...

The black strap is just over 43 inches long and is 1 1/2 inches wide. The hanging ring at the top adds another 3 inches to the overall length.
