Laced strap with 23 graduated bells

This laced bell strap holds a set of 23 petal bells graduating in size from small #2 bells (1 1/4" across) at the ends to a large #11 bell (2 3/8") in the center. 

The bells date to the late 1800s and early 1900s. The bells were cleaned and polished to a uniform golden color, but not lacquered. As the years go by, the bells will gradually darken to a deeper gold and then age to a brownish oxidized shade. 

The medium brown straps are laced together to form a single combined strap that is 1 1/2" wide and 82" long from buckle to tip. The old buckle on the original strap was long gone, so I replaced it with a solid brass buckle.
