Antique patent (Tucker) bell, single throat, rivet base, size #0, 1 in.

One-piece "patent" bells are stamped from thick sheet brass and have a ring of patent dates stamped on the base. These bells have many minor design variations. They are also called Tucker bells, after their designer George Tucker.

The style of patent bell shown is a less-common design. This bell is a scant 1" diameter with a single throat (slit), hemispherical top, a conical base, and the ring of dates. Patent bells date to the 1870s through the early 1900s.

Sold per each. Quantities are limited and subject to change without notice.
